DL8

PoE-powered 8-input, 8-output stage box with Midas PRO mic preamps and 2 powered ULTRANET monitoring outputs

Where to buy DL8 (0606-ACX)

Put eight inputs where the band actually plays.

The keyboard rig is stage left and the drum mics are far from the main stage box. Place the DL8 next to the sources and run one shielded CAT-5e cable back. Maximum cable runs reach up to 80 m. Stage box in, through console processing and back out takes 1.1 ms.

Plug in mics and line sources right on stage.

There are eight combo inputs for balanced XLR or ¼" plugs, each with its own +48 V phantom switch. Eight balanced XLR outputs carry AES50-A channels 1 to 8, 9 to 16 or 17 to 24. A 3-position switch selects the group.

Personal mixes without extra power supplies.

Two ULTRANET ports connect P16-M personal mixers directly. The ports provide phantom power, so the P16-M units run without additional power supplies.

Powered and chained over the network.

The DL8 can be powered via compatible Midas hubs connected to AES50 port A. Chain more DL8 units through port B. Their inputs are shifted up by 8 channels and forwarded to the mixer.
