Midas May Highlights
We look back at a fantastic month for Midas users around the world. From training events and cultural celebrations to technical innovation and accessible audio, the stories below showcase the passion, creativity, and precision that define the Midas community.
Hands-On with HD96: A Week of Mastery in Spain

A full week of hands-on HD96 training brought together professionals and educators at Adagio Pro in Spain, led by the dynamic team at Riera Audio. Participants explored the HD96-24, HD96-16, and the HD96-AIR, along with powerful infrastructure tools like the Midas AS80, Klark Teknik DN9680, and Midas COBALT.

Industry experts and Midas representatives Sam Woods and Daniel Paine guided attendees through workflows for front-of-house, monitors, and system design, making this a deep and practical learning experience. Riera Audio's infectious energy and dedication to the craft made this training a standout example of how collaboration drives excellence in live sound.

World-Class Sound for a Night in Egypt
In Hurghada, Egypt, Midas played a central role in delivering pristine audio for a live performance by international artist Adam at the Sunrise Alma Bay Resort. Spearheaded by audio engineer Beso Elraik, the event’s sound was engineered to perfection, offering every attendee a high-fidelity experience.
Supporting the production was local provider Disc Jockeyy, whose equipment setup and execution underscored Midas’ growing presence at world-class venues in the Middle East. This event reflected the seamless integration of artistry and technology that Midas users strive for.

Shaping the Future of Accessible Audio
Michelle Guadalupe Felix Garcia, a blind sound engineer with an incredible personal journey, continues to push boundaries in live sound. From teaching herself audio production at 13 to working in Coldplay’s Malibu studio, Michelle’s career stands as a powerful testament to talent, perseverance, and inclusion.
Her participation in the Audio Accessibility Alliance, supported by Clair Global, brought her to Rock Lititz this month, where she demonstrated her ability to operate ProTools using text-to-speech software. Midas product specialist Chase McKnight attended the event, contributing to discussions on accessibility in technical environments. The commitment to making live sound more inclusive is one we’re proud to support.
