MIDAS PRO2 and PRO2C Offline Editor Version V1.15.04 Beta 4

This is a Beta version, not a full release – we don't think there are any major issues in this version, but we can't guarantee it. We'd appreciate any feedback, positive or negative, by using this form: Customer Feedback – PRO2 OLE Beta

This Beta version of MIDAS Offline Editor allows you to create, edit and view show files for a PRO2 and PRO2C on any Intel-based Apple Macintosh computer running OSX 10.6 (Snow Leopard) or OSX 10.7 (Lion). You can now prepare shows ahead of time, learn the console operation. The Offline Editor allows full control of all parameters – including creation of show files, management of pre-set libraries, system setup and patching and so on: anything you can do on the console you can do on the Offline Editor, without learning any new operational methods.

Note

• This release does not currently support XL8 or PRO3/6/9

Known Issues

• The Offline Editor will not recognise that a USB key has been removed if it is simply pulled out. The operating system’s ‘safely remove’ function should be used before pulling a USB key from the computer.
