HERITAGE H4000 HOST CODE SOFTWARE V1.02

What is it, and why do I need it?
The Heritage 4000 Software Version 1.02 runs on the Heritage 4000 console to control the automation system, VCAs and console linking. It also allows you to upload and download scene memories to/from your console using a PC. We recommend that all users update to this version of the host code if you need any of the features listed below. Note that you will need the new version of the HSUtil updater (V2.00) to update the Heritage 4000. Note also that the reprogramming cable needs to be connected to the RS232 port on the back of the top pod of the Heritage 4000, not the lower port.

New Features:
This release upgrades version 1.01. Version 1.02 fixes a minor problem where certain MIDI triggers could occasionally be ignored by the desk. We recommend that all users upgrade to this version.Follow the link at the bottom of this page to download the latest version of the software and the new HSUtil updater.

What do I need to do it, and how do I go about doing it?
To program the console with this software or to upload and download the console scene memories, you will need:
• A PC with an available serial port (‘COM1’ to ‘COM4’ for example);
• A Null Modem cable (as described in ‘How to Program the Heritage Series’, see link below);
• The HSUtil V2.00 PC application (see link below);
• The console Host Software Version 1.02 (see link below).
