MIDAS PRO2 takes Indonesian market by storm

The MIDAS PRO2 and PRO2C live audio systems were given their first Asian unveiling during the JAPEX Exhibition in Jakarta in November. MIDAS' Indonesian distributor, PT Gracia Auvindo, together with MIDAS' David Cooper, demonstrated the new consoles on their booth.

"We are very proud to be the first to show the amazing PRO2 in Asia," says Thomsen Phan, managing director, PT Gracia Auvindo. "With the unbeatable sound quality of an XL8, an extremely easy to use control surface, very stable architecture and the networking capability of larger MIDAS digital consoles - all at a remarkable price - the PRO2 is set to change the Indonesian pro audio market."

"It's an honour for me to help Thomsen and his team launch PRO2 to the Indonesian market," says Cooper. "The response has been phenomenal and all is set for PRO2 to become the best selling digital console in Indonesia. Thomsen and the guys have worked extremely hard building the foundations for MIDAS Digital over the last few years and they deserve all the success that PRO2 is going to give them."

A MIDAS distributor since 2008, PT Gracia Auvindo has supplied numerous PRO Series systems throughout the country, with clients including GBI Rock Surabaya, University of Bunda Mulia, Happy Sound Rental Company and JW Marriott, Bali.
