Midas PRO6 continues success story in Holland
Midas Consoles Benelux has sold a further four Midas PRO6 Live Audio Systems in Holland, bringing their total PRO6 sales to five within the last month.
Two of the new Midas PRO6 owners are Dutch rental companies Sound & Light Support based in Hilversum and Stagepoint in Tiel.
Already familiar with the industry leading Midas quality, Sound & Light Support owners Jeroen and Veronica Brandon decided to expand their console inventory into digital with Midas. “Initially we were looking to buy a Midas Heritage, but when we visited Midas Consoles Benelux for a demo, we were also introduced to the PRO6,” says Jeroen. “Following this demo it became clear to us that PRO6 is the new leading digital console.”
Sound & Light plans to use the PRO6 across a variety of applications such as theatre and live music.
Stagepoint, whose clients include major Dutch artists such as Frans Bauer, had already built up lots of experience of both analogue and digital large format consoles, and head of Benelux sales Sander de Kruif decided the time had come to invest in Midas digital.
“The Midas digital approach, ie not working via ‘layers’, is so much more natural to mix with that I became a huge fan of the ‘Midas way’ after just a few minutes of testing,” says de Kruif.
“It makes me proud to see experienced companies like Stagepoint adapt to the Midas digital platform and these PRO6 sales are another milestone for us,” says Axel Nagtegaal, MD of Midas consoles Benelux. “The market is reacting very fast to PRO6 and the consoles are selling as quickly as they are being produced.”
A PRO6s was also sold to Triple Showtechniek for the Jan Smit tour, while a further two have been sold to Deltion Theatre College.
