BOSCH COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS WELCOMES ANTONY CHLIAROPOULOS, SALES APPLICATION ENGINEER, CANADA

Bosch Communications Systems is delighted to welcome Antony Chliaropoulos to the team as Sales Application Engineer for Canada, effective August 6th.

Chliaropoulos's main function will be to provide first line support to the Canadian Sales Manager. This will involve interaction with both customers (end-users, dealers, distributors) and independent sales representatives, developing and influencing sales of products from the Bosch Communications Systems group of pro audio brands (Electro-Voice, Dynacord, Midas, Klark Teknik and Telex).

An active musician most of his life, Chliaropoulos became curious about mixing and P.A. equipment at an early age. In 1998, this passion for music and audio led Chliaropoulos to Steve’s Music Store, where he embarked on a career in M.I. sales. He immediately fell in love with the world of sales, meeting new people and helping them find solutions to their audio challenges.

In 2003, Chliaropoulos’s career took a turn when he joined the sales team at leading Canadian full service sound, lighting & multimedia house Solotech Inc. “I spent four years at Solotech, honing my craft and learning everything I could about the pro audio and commercial installation markets,” he says, “and I met and worked with many magnificent people during my time there.”

“Over the years I’ve seen many different manufacturers and market trends come and go,” Chliaropoulos adds, “and I’ve truly come to admire the Telex / Bosch Communications Systems family of brands. I’ve always been inspired by the company’s vision and its commitment to offering the highest quality and most innovative products. This is why I immediately jumped at the opportunity to join the Bosch family. I see it as an excellent next step in my career and a superb environment for me to advance my knowledge of the industry and grow as a pro audio industry professional.”

Editor’s information:
Klark Teknik was founded in 1974 and in the years immediately following, their innovative approach to design and development allowed them to introduce some truly groundbreaking designs. Klark Teknik was responsible for the world’s first digital delay and digital reverb units, however it was their concepts for equalisation devices that really changed the world of professional audio resulting in the DN370 and the famous DN360. Today Klark Teknik continues to bring innovation in design and dedication to engineering and sonic quality in both the analogue and digital realm of signal processing, with the Square ONE and Show Command ranges updating the brand.

Midas live performance mixing consoles have been used by the world's most demanding sound engineers, performers and rental companies for three decades. The company strives to raise the standards of sonic quality through its programme of continual research and development, implementing new control functionality and user-friendly desk operation to anticipate and accommodate the ever-evolving needs of audio professionals who specify Midas consoles for their major tours, festivals, international events, broadcast projects and prestigious fixed installations.
