The Mini Powerhouse: The H1000 is a uniquely flexible live performance console that brings advanced XL4 style automation to a new live sound arena. The console features a small footprint and flexible module types that combine with the automation to produce a powerful easy to use package; ideal for Theatre, Outside Broadcast, Corporate and Touring FOH applications.
Interchangeable Modules: The H1000 console is fully modular which makes servicing simple and also caters for application specific custom layouts. Modules are easy to move in the frame, which can accommodate Mono or Stereo inputs modules at any channel position and additional Matrix modules, in place of inputs, to the right hand side of the master section.
Flexible Expandable Matrix: Each matrix module has two sections which can source from a mixture of masters, groups or auxes. The standard H1000 matrix is 13 X 8 but this can be expanded in both directions up to a maximum of 23 X 20! This is simply achieved by linking sections together and fitting additional matrix modules in place of inputs as required.
Frame Sizes: The H1000 is available in a variety of different frame sizes from 24 to 56 input channels.
XL4 Mic Pre Amps: The H1000 features the proven XL4 mic pre amplifier. This is a low distortion, constant HF bandwidth topology which assures excellent amplifier stability, RF rejection and noise performance at all gain settings.
Equaliser: The sonic performance of the legendary XL3 equaliser is fully maintained including the full parametric mid's and traditional Midas bass and treble shelving responses.
Direct Outputs: Every input module is fitted with a direct output as standard with rear panel switching from pre or post fader signal.
Line and B inputs: Each channel can be switched to source from a second "B" XLR input or a Hi Z jack input. This is ideal for switch over to backup inputs or recorded material etc.
Audio Busses: With 10 audio sub groups, 10 aux busses and 3 master (SIS TM) busses, the H1000 is well equipped to handle the vast majority of live applications. Additionally the group and aux routing is fully automated and global master switching is provided to change 4 of the aux busses to stereo level and pan operation.
Inserts: Each channel has a half normalised fully balanced insert send and return point which can be switched pre or post equaliser from the front panel.
VCA Groups and Mute Groups: Each channel can be controlled by any combination of the 10 automated VCA master faders and 10 automute masters. Assignment of these busses can also be placed under automation control.
Link Capability: All busses have direct inputs provided for console linking of audio and a CAN bus connection is provided that realises system control linking of all other functions.
Automation: The H1000 automation system can store and recall up to 500 snapshot scenes including timed VCA Master cross fades, all major console Mutes **, Automute group assignments, audio and VCA group assignments plus 4 MIDI messages per scene. (** except master LCR)
Mechanical and Electronic Design of modules: All modules front panels are 2mm thick flat zinc plated steel with multiple connecting brackets attaching to pcbs.
PCB Material: All pcbs are 1.6mm Military specification (FR4) material except mother boards which are 2.4mm thick FR4.
Frame: A zinc plated steel chassis with internal box sections provides a rugged mechanical structure and effective electromagnetic screening.
Faders: High quality Alps faders used throughout.
Amp design: Low noise types used throughout.
Buss design: Low noise virtual earth topology with hum and HF interference cancelling systems.
Pots: Mechanically stable, sealed, Alps pcb type design used throughout.
Components: Tight tolerance resistors and capacitors used as standard.
Warranty: Midas has confidence in their products resulting in an industry beating 3 -year warranty.
